Not without authorization. A lien, finance balance or lease gives another party an interest in the vehicle. Resolve the balance and obtain written authority before arranging removal. Ontario recommends checking whether money is owed before a vehicle sale.
The seller needs legal authority to release the vehicle. Depending on the situation, that may include power of attorney, executor documents, estate records or written authorization from the registered owner. Confirm the required documents before dispatch.
